Vendor Notebook: MED3000, Medapoint to help EMS dispatch

MED3000‘s Fire/EMS division, which provides billing services for the ambulance industry, announced a partnership with Medapoint to offer AdvanceDispatch, a Web-based tool that offers EMS departments a means to manage their dispatch and tracking.

SRS announced that Pediatric Associates of Savannah has selected the SRS Patient Portal for its 10 providers and 3 office locations. Pediatric Associates of Savannah provides comprehensive pediatric care to Savannah, Georgia and the surrounding areas, and has been successfully using the SRS EHR since 2004.

SRS also announced that OrthoKansas, P.A., has selected the SRS EHR for its 12 providers. OrthoKansas is located in Lawrence, Kan., and provides high-quality orthopaedic care to patients in that area.

MediRevv announced a new client-partner,Iowa Health System (IHS), the fifth largest nondenominational health system in America. MediRevv will provide accounts receivable conversion assistance before IHS moves its core hospital system to Epic.

Amcom Software announced that Fairview Health Services selected its solutions to build an enterprise-wide approach to critical communications. Officials say Minneapolis-based Fairview chose Amcom not only to replace an aging call center platform, but also to expand the scope of its communication functions to clinical settings.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina recently launched a mobile website that provides its more than 3.7 million customers with easy access to their health care information on the go. BCBSNC worked with Kony Solutions, a mobile platform provider, to develop and deploy the site.

Allscripts announced that University Health System, the lead trauma center for South Texas, will use the Allscripts Community Record, powered by dbMotion, to share patient data with its facilities and the University of Texas (UT) Health Science Center San Antonio.

Allscripts also announced that United Regional Health Care System will deploy Allscripts Care Management to help deliver care for the communities it serves. Officials say the addition of the Care Management system will transform the administrative process for United Regional, streamlining and improving the quality of patient care, improving efficiency, and generating cost savings.

PerfectServe announced that WellStar Health System, headquartered in Marietta, Ga., recently selected its intelligent clinical communication platform to standardize communications system-wide between physicians and nursing, pharmacy and ancillary teams.

DataArt announced completion of CloudRecords, a fully-certified EHR solution that offers healthcare providers a variety of tools to consult with patients and run all departments of a medical practice. The CloudRecords is a family of five different applications, allowing clinical staff and patients to gather, manage and review all administrative and medical data.

Intelligent InSites and WaveMark have announced the integration of WaveMark’s enterprise visibility solution of consumable assets, including medical implantable devices and supplies, with the Intelligent InSites enterprise RTLS software solution.
