The Centre Hospitalier Côte de Lumière in Sables d’Olonne, France, has implemented Stanley Healthcare Solutions’ AeroScout StaffSafety solution for its emergency department. The hospital uses the solution to reduce response times when a staff member encounters an emergency.
StaffSafety is based on the AeroScout RTLS and leverages Wi-Fi networks to facilitate fast deployment, simple maintenance and low cost, officials say. It includes AeroScout Wi-Fi Tags with call buttons and AeroScout MobileView software. Nurses and physicians wear the tags press a call button if assistance is need. The security team is also alerted, providing the real-time location of the staff member.
“Hospitals are dynamic, stressful environments, and enhancing safety is always a key goal,” said Eric Devineau, vice president of European sales at Stanley Healthcare Solutions. “We’re proud to partner with the Centre Hospitalier Côte de Lumière to support its efforts to reduce response times for potential urgent situations and to provide a safe environment for its staff and patients.”
