Voalte hired Candace Smith, RN, as the company’s new chief nursing officer. She joins the company from Medline Industries where she served as senior vice president, chief nursing officer and clinical program consultant.
Patient Privacy Rights announced the appointment of three new members to its board of directors: Debra Diene, Kaliya Hamlin, and Dennie Jagger.
Caremerge announced the addition of Joe Steier, president and chief executive officer of Signature HealthCARE, to the Caremerge board of directors.
Cognosante named Stephen Gantz, MD, as its chief security and privacy officer. Prior to joining the company, he was senior vice president and chief security officer at Evolvent, and director of security and privacy for the Health Solutions Division at Vangent.
YTH named Jamia Wilson as its new executive director. Most recently, she was the TED Prize Storyteller at TED Conferences; she has also worked at Women’s Media Center, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and People for the American Way.
The American Academy of Family Physicians announced that Amy Mullins, MD, has joined the AAFP staff as medical director for quality improvement. She most recently served as both a practicing family physician and as medical director at Trinity Clinic in Whitehouse, Texas.
