Coordinated Health taps Greg Flanagan as new CIO

Coordinated Health, a Pennsylvania-based, privately held, physician-owned, surgical specialty hospital network, has appointed Greg Flanagan as its new chief information officer.

Flanagan’s responsibilities include the integration of all electronic¬†health records across CH’s full continuum of care, business intelligence and analytics, and applications and digital transformation for the company’s two hospitals, more than 100 physicians and 1,200 employees across 17 locations in eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey.

Flanagan joins the two-hospital Coordinated Health from Advancing Practitioners, a Tennessee-based health services company where he held the post of chief operating officer. A 20-year veteran of the healthcare industry, he was responsible for all executive management of AP’s non-clinical functions. Flanagan received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Duke University in 1986 and his master’s degree in hospital administration from the university two years later. Since earning his master’s, Flanagan has served in several healthcare provider organizations including a stint as CIO of APS Healthcare in New York and RegionalCare Hospital Partners in Tennessee.¬†
