In my personal opinion, there's no one magic diet that works across the board for everyone. There are so many variables with each individual that everyone is going to respond differently. I think everyone really does know how to eat well, it's just a question of maintaining that. Real food like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, unprocessed meat are going to work the best to clean out your system. Staying away from processed and sugars and fats will immediately make a difference. Some programs like Weight Watchers and NutriSystem are helpful because they prepare the meals for you and you simply have to stick to the program. It all depends on you level of activity, the time you have, how much effort you want to put in, and what kind of results you want. It's going to be different for everyone.
